In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Rocky Mount Gryphons football squad scored a good 12-0 victory over the Goldsboro Cougars.
In their next game, the Gryphons clash with the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 15. Rocky Mount will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Whiteville thwarted Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 33-6, in a non-league match.
