The Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings held off the visiting Mayville Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Vikings now have a 1-0 record.
The Cardinals (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Fall River (Fall River, WI). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fall River was nudged by Mayville (Mayville, WI), 2-1, in a non-league test.
