The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Nezperce Nighthawks (Nezperce, ID) and the host Meadows Valley Mountaineers (New Meadows, ID), saw Nezperce's volleyball squad beat Meadows Valley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Nezperce upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Deary (Deary, ID) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a bout on Monday, September 12.
