In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Griswold Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Tourtellotte Tigers.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Indians come into the Eastern Connecticut III battle with a 0-0 record.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Clippers come into the Eastern Connecticut IV battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Putnam by Killingly (Killingly, CT), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
