Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) in a District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Webster County will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cooper (Union, KY).

The Lyons now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Caldwell County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Lyon County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
