In Thursday's non-league battle, the host McCracken County Mustangs soccer squad scored a good 8-0 win over the Mayfield Cardinals.
The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Owensboro (Owensboro, KY). The Red Devils go into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Owensboro was overwhelmed by Daviess County (Owensboro, KY), 6-1, in a league battle.
The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers go into the District 2 battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Calloway County Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY), 2-2, in a non-league battle.
