The Model Blue Devils softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Armuchee Indians to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Model improves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Blue Devils host Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 13. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 7-3. Haralson County lost 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Trion (Trion, GA)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 game, on Tuesday, September 13. Armuchee will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 9-4 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
