The Okmulgee Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Wetumka Chieftains to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Okmulgee improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Depew (Depew, OK) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Weleetka Outlaws (Weleetka, OK) in a Class A game, on Monday, September 12. Wetumka will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
