The Wilburton Diggers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Quinton Savages to 2 in the Diggers non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Wilburton moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Diggers host Silo (Silo, OK) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Monday, September 12. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 1-2.
In their next game, the Savages clash with the Indianola Warriors (Indianola, OK) in a Class A match, on Friday, September 9. Quinton will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Stuart (Stuart, OK).
