South Dakota High School Volleyball - Alcester-Hudson tips Avon

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) volleyball squad nudged the host Avon Pirates (Avon, SD), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Cubs face the Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) in a B Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Alcester-Hudson will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Freeman (Freeman, SD).
