The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) and the host Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), saw Imlay City's volleyball squad beat Algonac by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Imlay City upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI) to play the Marauders in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Ovid-Elsie lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Saranac (Saranac, MI)

The Muskrats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yale for a Blue Water Area bout on Tuesday, September 13. Algonac will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ubly (Ubly, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.
