The Arleta Mustangs topped the visiting San Fernando Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe for a East Valley test on Monday, September 12. Arleta will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Spartans enter the Valley Mission test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Sylmar gained a win over Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
