Michigan High School Volleyball - Avondale over Walled Lake Western

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) and the visiting Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI), saw Avondale's volleyball squad beat Walled Lake Western by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Avondale upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Berkley (Berkley, MI) to play the Bears in a Oakland - White bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Berkley lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI)

The Warriors now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Walled Lake Western will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
