In Thursday's league battle, the host Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ballard Bruins.
The Centurions (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, John Hardin lost by Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bruins clash with the Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Ballard will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Greendevils come into the battle with a 3-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY).
