Ohio High School Volleyball - Monroe Central over Bridgeport

September 8, 2022: Bridgeport, OH 43912

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) and the host Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, OH), saw Monroe Central's volleyball squad beat Bridgeport by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Seminoles host River (Hannibal, OH) to play the Pilots in a Ohio Valley 3A bout on Monday, September 12. The Pilots go into the bout with a record of 1-7. River won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Paden City for a non-league bout on Monday, September 12. Bridgeport will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
