The Cairo Pilots topped the host Lovejoy Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pilots now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a non-league test on Thursday, September 15. Cairo will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 0-6.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds enter the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Metamora gained a win over Morton (Morton, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
