Illinois High School Volleyball - Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian over Cumberland

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian (Decatur, IL) and the host Cumberland Pirates (Toledo, IL), saw Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian's volleyball squad beat Cumberland by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The host MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-5. MacArthur lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Olympia (Stanford, IL)

The Pirates now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Argenta-Oreana for a Lincoln Prairie bout on Tuesday, September 13. Cumberland will play a Bombers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 1-6.
