In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Woodland Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Gordon Central Warriors.
The Wildcats (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the 5A Area 7 battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Calhoun achieved victory over Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Gordon Central will attempt to advance on its 1-15 season record.
