The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Smith Vo-Tech Vikings (Northampton, MA) and the host Granby Rams (Granby, MA), saw Smith Vo-Tech's volleyball squad beat Granby by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Smith Vo-Tech upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings host Franklin County Tech (Turners Falls, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Rams now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School for a non-league bout on Monday, September 12. Granby will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Commerce (Springfield, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
