The Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hart County Raiders to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caverna for a non-league game on Monday, September 12. Metcalfe County will meet a Colonels team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 2-1.

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Hawks enter the District 18 game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Larue County was dropped by Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
