The Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) volleyball overcame the host Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Islands betters its record to 12-2 on the year. The Sharks host Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA) to face the Terrors in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 14. The Terrors go into the outing with a record of 4-5.
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bradwell Institute for a 5A Area 1 outing on Tuesday, September 13. Statesboro will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
