Indiana High School Volleyball - Woodlan over Jay County

September 8, 2022: Portland, IN 47371

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Woodlan Warriors (Woodburn, IN) and the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), saw Woodlan's volleyball squad beat Jay County by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Woodlan upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Bluffton (Bluffton, IN) to play the Tigers in a Allen County bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Bluffton lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Adams (Berne, IN)

The Patriots now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Shelbyville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Jay County will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hauser (Hope, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-8.
