The Lakewood Lancers topped the visiting Rancho Cucamonga Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lancers now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millikan for a Moore test on Tuesday, September 13. Lakewood will confront a Rams team coming off a 3-1 league win over Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Rams record now stands at 8-2.

The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles enter the Baseline test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Etiwanda dropped by Serrano (Phelan, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
