The Madison East Purgolders volleyball team (Madison, WI), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI)

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI). The Lasers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Kettle Moraine defeated Arrowhead (Hartland, WI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Purgolders meet the Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Madison East will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sparta (Sparta, WI).
