Louisiana High School Football - Union Parish held off by Airline

September 8, 2023: Farmerville, LA 71241

In Friday's non-league game, the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) football team tipped the host Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), by a score of 48-44.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Northwood (Shreveport, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Northwood was tipped by Wossman (Monroe, LA), 12-7, in a non-league game.

The Farmers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Captain Shreve for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Union Parish will battle a Gators team coming off a 61-27 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Gators record now stands at 1-1.
