North Carolina High School Football - A.L. Brown overwhelms South Rowan

September 8, 2023: China Grove, NC 28023

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) and the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), observed A.L. Brown's football squad bounce South Rowan by a count of 49-6.

The Wonders now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 4A Greater Metro contest on Friday, September 15. A.L. Brown will encounter a Ragin' Bulls squad coming off a 63-14 non-league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 0-4.

Coming up next, the Raiders encounter the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A contest, on Friday, September 15. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 48-0 non-league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
