    • North Carolina High School Football - Alleghany felled by Robbinsville

    September 8, 2023: Sparta, NC 28675

    The Alleghany Trojans football team (Sparta, NC), was knocked off 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC)

    The Black Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record.

    The Trojans now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starmount for a Northwest 1A challenge on Friday, September 15. Alleghany will meet a Rams team coming off a 62-12 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-0.
