Arizona High School Football - Valley Union topples Anthem Prep

The Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) football defeated the visiting Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ), 56-27 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the San Manuel Miners (San Manuel, AZ) in a 1A South (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 15. Valley Union will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Miners enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ).

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ). The Patriots enter the 1A West (8 Man) bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Mohave Accelerated defeated Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ), 48-6, in a non-league bout.
