Oregon High School Football - Ashland beat North Eugene

The Ashland Grizzlies football squad scored 49 points and restricted the visiting North Eugene Highlanders to 27 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Friday.

The Grizzlies now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henley for a 4A Special District 4 battle on Friday, September 15. Ashland will play a Hornets squad coming off a 46-7 non-league win over Crater (Central Point, OR). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Highlanders play the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) in a 5A Special District 2 battle, on Friday, September 15. North Eugene will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 46-25 non-league loss to Summit (Bend, OR).
