Alabama High School Football - Austin held off by Sparkman

September 8, 2023: Harvest, AL 35749

In Friday's league game, the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) football team tipped the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), by a final score of 21-18.

The Senators (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Albertville (Albertville, AL). The Aggies come into the 7A Region 4 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Albertville was tipped by Florence (Florence, AL), 28-6, in a league game.

The Black Bears now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Florence for a 7A Region 4 game on Friday, September 15. Austin will battle a Falcons team coming off a 28-6 league win over Albertville (Albertville, AL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
