In Friday's non-league match, the host Mountainside Mavericks football squad scored a close 34-27 victory over the Barlow Bruins.
In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 15. Mountainside will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
