The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Barringer Blue Bears (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Dickinson Rams (Jersey City, NJ), observed Barringer's football squad defeat Dickinson by a count of 34-12.
The Blue Bears now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. Barringer will play a Knights squad coming off a 43-0 non-league loss to Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
Coming up next, the Rams play the Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Dickinson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 55-7 league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ).
