The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK) and the host Bethel Wildcats (Shawnee, OK), observed McLoud's football squad edge Bethel by a count of 28-21.

The Redskins now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Tecumseh for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. McLoud will encounter a Savages squad coming off a 42-24 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, OK). The Savages record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Little Axe Indians (Norman, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 34-14 non-league loss to Dibble (Dibble, OK).
