The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) and the host Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX), observed Blanco's football squad thwart Comfort by a tally of 39-21.

The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Geneva for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. Blanco will play a squad coming off a 35-12 non-league win over La Pryor (La Pryor, TX). The record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Bobcats/Deer play the Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Comfort will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Hondo (Hondo, TX).
