    • Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwestern Lehigh sneaks past Blue Mountain

    September 8, 2023: Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972

    The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Blue Mountain Eagles to 21 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

    The Tigers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pen Argyl for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 16. Northwestern Lehigh will face a Green Knights squad coming off a 16-12 non-league loss to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 2-1.

    Coming up next, the Eagles face the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Gold battle, on Friday, September 15. Blue Mountain will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Crimson Tide enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 28-7 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
