Alabama High School Football - Briarwood Christian topples Chilton County

The Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) football defeated the host Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 28-10 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Lions face the Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) in a 6A Region 3 bout, on Friday, September 15. Briarwood Christian will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 24-21 non-league win over Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL).

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Helena (Helena, AL). The Huskies enter the 6A Region 3 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Helena defeated Homewood (Homewood, AL), 31-17, in a league bout.
