Nebraska High School Football - Bridgeport routs Sutherland

The Bridgeport Bulldogs football squad scored 70 points and restricted the host Sutherland Sailors to 20 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hemingford for a D1 District 11 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 15. Bridgeport will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 34-28 non-league loss to Hyannis (Hyannis, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Sailors play the St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE) in a D1 District 10 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 15. Sutherland will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Irish enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 69-0 non-league win over Kimball (Kimball, NE).
