South Dakota High School Football - Burke topped by Colome

The Burke Cougars football team (Burke, SD), was beaten 50-28 in Friday's league challenge with the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD)

The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Sully Buttes was beaten by Faulkton (Faulkton, SD), 56-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corsica/Stickney for a Great Plains (9 Man) challenge on Friday, September 15. Burke will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 54-14 league win over Centerville (Centerville, SD). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.
