Utah High School Football - Maple Mountain topples Cedar Valley

September 8, 2023: Spanish Fork, UT 84040

The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) football defeated the visiting Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT), 56-37 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) in a 5A Region 7 bout, on Friday, September 15. Maple Mountain will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wasps enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 44-0 league loss to Orem (Orem, UT).

The Aviators (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Springville (Springville, UT). The Red Devils enter the 5A Region 7 bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Springville lost by Timpview (Provo, UT), 17-0, in a league bout.
