Iowa High School Football - Central City beat Edgewood-Colesburg

The Central City Wildcats football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 20 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New London for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA) in a 8-Man District 5 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 15. Edgewood-Colesburg will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 49-30 league loss to Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA).
