    In Friday's league match, the visiting Central Falcons football squad scored a good 42-27 victory over the Paul W. Bryant Stampede.

    In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL) in a 6A Region 4 match, on Friday, September 15. Central will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 56-0 league loss to Hueytown (Hueytown, AL).

    The Stampede (1-2) will now prepare for their match against McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 6A Region 4 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, McAdory was toppled by Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL), 48-21, in a league match.
