South Dakota High School Football - Rapid City Christian nips Custer

September 8, 2023: Rapid City, SD 57702

In Friday's non-league match, the host Rapid City Christian Comets football squad scored a close 14-12 victory over the Custer Wildcats.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Rapid City Christian will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 56-12 league win over Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD).

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Orioles enter the Dakota 12 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Lennox was nudged by Canton (Canton, SD), 28-20, in a league match.
