    • Arizona High School Football - Lone Peak defeats Highland

    September 8, 2023: Gilbert, AZ 85234

    In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Lone Peak Knights football squad scored a good 35-24 victory over the Highland Hawks.

    In their next game, the Knights clash with the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a 6A Region 3 match, on Friday, September 15. Lone Peak will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 34-7 non-league win over West Jordan (West Jordan, UT).

    The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Campo Verde ran past Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ), 30-6, in a non-league match.
