In Friday's non-league game, the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) football team knocked off the visiting Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), by a final score of 20-12.
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Pirates come into the 4A Region 3 game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Gosnell toppled Osceola (Osceola, AR), 28-6, in a non-league game.
The Mohawks now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Marked Tree for a non-league game on Friday, September 15.
