The Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD) football edged the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 14-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A challenge, on Friday, September 22. Pallotti will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
The Patriots now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. John Carroll will meet a Knights team coming off a 0-0 league St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
