The Marengo Panthers football squad scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Johnson Eagles to 16 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linden for a 1A Region 3 battle on Friday, September 15. Marengo will play a Patriots squad coming off a 44-12 league win over Keith (Orrville, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
