The Johnston Dragons football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting Valley Tigers to 9 in the Dragons non-league victory on Friday.

The Dragons now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15. Johnston will play a Hawks squad coming off a 35-14 non-league loss to Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.
