New York High School Football - Xaverian trounces Kennedy Catholic

In Friday's league match, the visiting Xaverian Clippers football squad scored a big 42-7 victory over the Kennedy Catholic Gaels.

In their next game, the Clippers clash with the Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) in a Catholic AA II match, on Friday, September 15. Xaverian will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 26-0 non-league win over Bayside (Bayside, NY).

The Gaels (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Cardinal Spellman (Bronx, NY). The The Pilots enter the Catholic AA II match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Cardinal Spellman was crushed by Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY), 14-0, in a league match.
