Colorado High School Football - Montezuma-Cortez victorious over Kirtland Central

September 8, 2023: Cortez, CO 81321

The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) football overcame the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM), 54-40 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 16. Montezuma-Cortez will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Miners enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 42-16 non-league win over Grand Valley (Parachute, CO).

The Broncos (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Rio Grande was toppled by Taos (Taos, NM), 51-0, in a non-league bout.
