Kansas High School Football - Lansing held off by Shawnee Heights

In Friday's league game, the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) football team tipped the host Lansing Lions (Lansing, KS), by a score of 26-25.

The Thunderbirds (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Vikings come into the United Kansas game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Seaman got by Turner (Kansas City, KS), 59-6, in a non-league game.

The Lions now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Leavenworth for a United Kansas game on Friday, September 15. Lansing will battle a PIONEERS team coming off a 48-6 league win over West (Topeka, KS). The PIONEERS record now stands at 2-0.
